A note about the Sandel collection: Hollie and Andrew are currently working on an article about the Sandels, their historic home, and their collection. Look for that article this summer in Early American Life Magazine. Their amazing collection, as well as their home and 500+ acres, are currently in transition into the public trust, under the stewardship of Preservation Parks of Delaware County. What is being offered here will be the ONLY clocks from Walt and Kathy that will be sold.
As always, we have affordable in-house shipping available for all auctions. For shipping and pickup information, please GO HERE.

Terms & Conditions
By registering for this auction, you indicate that you have read and agree to the full terms and conditions set forth below. The purchase price shall be the final hammer price plus a buyer's premium (18% absentee and phone, 20% HiBid, 23% Live Auctioneers).
Bids are considered binding contracts to purchase. We strive to provide accurate descriptions and condition reports, but all lots are sold as is. Please read the descriptions and examine the photos. We are happy to answer your questions and provide additional and higher-resolution photographs. Please ask! We will answer questions in the order in which they are received. By bidding on any lot, you acknowledge that you are satisfied with the item(s) as is and are prepared to pick up or have shipped every item in all lots purchased. All sales are final.
You may bid in our auction in three ways:
1. Place an absentee bid directly with us. We will execute your bid competitively and honestly. Absentee bids left directly with us are subject to a buyer's premium of 18%. To bid via absentee bid, complete the form available on our website.
2. Bid live via telephone (buyer’s premium is 18%). To bid via telephone bid, complete the form available on our website.
3. Bid via HiBid or Live Auctioneers. Bids may be left in advance of the auction, or you may bid live during the sale on May 24. The execution of online bids will be handled by the bidding platforms. Meander Auctions will not be held liable for any missed bids due to technical issues or loss of internet connectivity. Bids executed through live auction platforms are subject to a higher buyer's premium than our 18% in-house premium. The auctioneer will have sole discretion to settle any and all bidding disputes.

Invoices will be sent out soon after the auction. Payment is due upon receipt of that invoice. We accept most major credits, as well as cash (if you are picking up), wire transfer, and bidders known to us may pay via check. We require wire transfers for larger purchases (more than $5,000). Payment may be made online, by phone, or at the time of pickup. For buyers needing their purchase(s) shipped, we will reach out to you regarding shipping after the invoice has been paid. The buyer's premium is the same regardless of payment method. No lots will be released without full payment.

All items from this auction are available for pickup by appointment at our gallery: 6825 State Route 821, Whipple, OH.
SHIPPING
We can ship many lots in this auction in-house. We charge for the cost of shipping, insurance, materials, and time. THE COST FOR SHIPPING WILL NOT BE ON YOUR INITIAL INVOICE. We will send a separate invoice for the shipping charge, so please pay the sale invoice immediately and let us know if you wish us to ship your item(s). We will then calculate the shipping charge and send a second invoice.
We can only ship smaller items in-house. Furniture and other large items must be picked up by the buyer or a third-party shipper. We maintain a list of such shippers on our website.
A NOTE ABOUT CLOCK SHIPPING FOR THIS AUCTION: Tall clocks, of course, must be picked up by the buyer or a buyer’s agent. We are happy to pack and ship shelf clocks, but the cost for materials and time may be a higher than usual. Clocks are complex and fragile and we will take the time necessary to ensure the safest travel possible for clocks.
We are committed to affordable in-house shipping, and we ask your patience as our team carefully packs and ships your eligible purchases. It may take 2-3 week from the point of payment until your package goes out our door. We will provide you with tracking information when it is available.
Autopay
If you have not contacted Meander Auctions (formerly Ohio Company Antiques) to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
Sales Tax
Online purchases from Meander Auctions may be subject to sales tax. If you are tax-exempt, you must submit a copy of a completed tax exemption form. If you are tax exempt and bidding via Live Auctioneers, you must register your status directly with them. We cannot remove sales tax from a Live Auctioneers invoice.
